I'm so excited to be going to the State Fair this Sunday. While I'm normally very busy at my booth, I always enjoy seeing all the agricultural exhibits, listening to great music and meeting new people the most. I have to bite my tongue when nearly everyone who visits says "Look at the llamas!", but I then go on to explain how llamas and alpacas are cousins, and that these are alpacas. It's fun to see the faces of little children who have never been close to these beautiful creatures or touched their incredibly soft fiber. The alpacas are enjoying the cooler weather and the lush growth of green grass with this last few storms that have rushed through. The farm is open for visitors, so please let me know if you would like to come for a tour!  See you at the State Fair!

See you at the market, or in the kitchen!
