A NOTE FROM UNDER THE WING
|Lisa and "Cupcake"|
Things are heating up...both above ground and below! We'll be putting in a small hoop house at the Cook 'N Nook next week for our Camp C.H.E.F. kids to work in over the summer, filled with culinary herbs and pizza veggies! RVAG, Inc. has an Earth Day event coming up out at Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery on April 18th (details next week), and I'm participating in the Powhatan Festival of Fibers on April 25th. With alpaca sheering squeezed in the middle there somewhere and planning for opening both Manakin Market AND the Pearisburg Community Market on May 2nd, this girl is going flat out! Within the next few weeks, at least, we're expecting some warmer weather, so hopefully the ground will warm up enough for our farmers to get everything planted so we'll actually have veggies for sale on opening day! What are YOU growing this year?
