They're ready to show off their skills, so make sure kick up your heels and join us at the market this week to watch them perform! In case you didn't realize it, Aspire Dance Academy is right across the street from the market. They teach all ages. They also have a great boutique store for dance apparel at the same location. Check it out!
|Look for our young|
farmers and entrepreneurs!
It's Marketeers Club Day at My Manakin Market this week. Marketeers Club vendors are kids aged 6-16 who have grown or made the products they bring to market. We certainly hope you will support these young farmers and entrepreneurs by purchasing products from them. Look for the Marketeer Club Vendor sign at their booth!
If you are interested in participating in our Marketeers Club, please contact us!
MUSIC AT THE MARKET
|Cody & Graham|
The Homeschool Pickers are a 4 piece gospel and traditional Bluegrass band that started in 2013 with Graham Donahue on guitar and Cody Miller on mandolin. In early 2014 Cody’s cousins joined the band, adding guitar and bass. The band now consists of Graham Donahue (18) on banjo, guitar, and vocals, Cody Miller (15) on vocals and mandolin, Gery Hochstetler (17) on guitar and vocals, and Bracy Hochstetler (13) on bass guitar. You might recognize Graham from the market...he's one of our vendors - Bethel Family Farm! If you know of a band or musician who wants to play at our market, email us!

We are collecting donated food each week at the markets through our Gleaning Program for our good friends at the Goochland Free Clinic and Family Services.
We will be collecting food products that vendors may end up discarding at the end of each market day. In addition, customers will have the opportunity to purchase products, or bring canned or dried food products, for the GFCFS's Food Pantry
for donation to needy families and/or bring items in need. How about purchasing an extra dozen eggs for our hungry neighbors for donation?
We will be collecting these items weekly at the ChiknEGG
booth. And don't forget, we accept SNAP (formerly know as food stamps)! Tell your friends!
We have live music every week, cooking demonstrations, chef's demos, regular children's activities and lots of other fun activities for the whole family. Kids can join our Marketeers Club and join our vendors to sell what they have grown or made themselves, or join our Club Sprouts to try new farm fresh foods for rewards! Contact ChiknEGG
