There are so many cool things going on in and around Goochland right now!  Lots of new food entrepreneurs visiting the kitchen for the first time and signing up to use the space.  New classes, new events, new faces.  I'm very pleased that RVAg will be very involved with the Rassawek Spring Jubilee this year.  We're organizing several chef's demos with Chef Stefan Boutchyard there this year - a first for Rassawek.  Chef Stefan is going to marinade some of the Green Acres pork (and maybe some beef) with some of Lickinghole Creek's delicious craft beers for some really amazing pairings!  Yours truly will be there once again with our alpaca cooperative, demonstrating weaving techniques using peg looms and weaving sticks.  If you've never been before, this is the year to visit!  It is truly an amazing place, and you'll feel as if you've stepped back in time at this beautiful vineyard in the middle of a pristine property!  I have some other exciting news to share, but I'll wait til next week to keep everyone hanging.  Oh, make sure to watch for me on Tuesday at Noon on WRIC, Channel 8 and also on Wednesday at Noon on WWBT, Channel 12.  We're going to be bringing the alpacas to tv studios to be interviewed for Rassawek!

See you at the market, or in the kitchen!
