MUSIC AT THE MARKET
Visit Wayne's Facebook Page!
A fixture in the Richmond area, Wayne Ruotolo has performed his mix of acoustic, folk rock for many years. By drawing on an extensive song list that encompasses over four decades of rock, pop, folk and country, he is able to crisscross multi-generational audiences with ease. A singer/songwriter, he also has a sizable collection of original songs comprised of everyday life narratives and poetic ballads. Wayne Ruotolo's first exposure to a Richmond audience was at the Cock & Bull in Richmond's Northside opening for Page Wilson. As an English major at the Virginia Commonwealth University, he began to explore the possibility of a career in music. Throughout the eighties and early nineties, he played at many colleges and universities in Virginia. After receiving his Bachelor of Art he concentrated his efforts on music full time.  To book Wayne for your next party or special occasion, message him on Facebook or call him @ (804)240-6908. If you know of a band or solo artist who would like to play at the market, please email ChiknEGG or call:  804-314-9141.  Here are the Performance Guidelines for Artists.  Hours for performing are 10:00am - 1:00pm.

CAR WASH
Get a Clean Car & Clean Food!
The Goochland High School Volley Ball Team will be offering car washes at the market this week.  Proceeds will go to support uniforms and equipment.  You can drop off your car for a wash while you shop!

CRITTER CORNER
We always have live animals to pet!
Kid's - come and see what critters Christopher and Annabelle, our Local Agrarian Critter Corner farmers in training, will have at the market for you to pet and visit with!  Christoper and Annabelle will be happy to show you their farm critters and share their knowledge with young and old(er) market shoppers!  They have a few things for sale that they have made themselves and are donating a portion of their proceeds to charity animal rescue groups!  We are very proud of these young, forward-thinking agrarians!

Join our Club Sprouts!
We have live music every week, cooking demonstrations, chef's demos, regular children's activities and lots of other fun activities for the whole family. Kids can join our Marketeers Club and join our vendors to sell what they have grown or made themselves, or join our Club Sprouts to try new farm fresh foods for rewards!  Contact ChiknEGG’s Special Events Coordinator, Beth Hopkins for more information on our children's activities.
