This thrill-a-minute activity is guaranteed to make memories that will last a lifetime!  Click HERE to download a flyer to share.  This year's Mutton Bustin' is brought to you by Southern States

The Bustin' starts at 11:00am, but kids need to come early to sign up so they can make sure to be able to participate. All participants must sign a waiver.

KID'S ACTIVITY
The kids will be making fruit and vegetable prints out of real food this week.  Be prepared to get a little messy, possibly!

MUSIC AT THE MARKET
Click HERE to hear Phil's songs online!
Market favorite Phil Julian and his friend Doug will be entertaining us this week at the market.  Phil has been writing and performing both Christian music and comedy, sometimes simultaneously, depending on the venue, since 1970.  Phil’s music covers a broad spectrum of styles covering country, folk, contemporary, soft rock, and traditional style hymns. No screaming, no fuzz tones, no jumping off the stage, just a foot tapping rhythm, good down-home acoustical picking, and a message you can take home in your heart. Good listening. His siblings all have the same type of humor, probably genetical, which pops out in spite of any attempts to restrain it and in spite of his Christian convictions. The nut doesn't fall far from the tree. Originally from Seattle, Phil has lived near Richmond, Virginia since 1994.  Contact Phil by email for bookings.  If you know of a band or solo artist who would like to play at the market, please email ChiknEGG or call:  804-314-9141.  Here are the Performance Guidelines for Artists.  Hours for performing are 9:00am-Noon.

MUSIC AT THE MARKET

Wayne Ruotolo
A fixture in the Richmond area, Wayne Ruotolo has performed his mix of acoustic, folk rock for many years. By drawing on an extensive song list that encompasses over four decades of rock, pop, folk and country, he is able to crisscross multi-generational audiences with ease. A singer/songwriter, he also has a sizable collection of original songs comprised of everyday life narratives and poetic ballads. Wayne Ruotolo's first exposure to a Richmond audience was at the Cock & Bull in Richmond's Northside opening for Page Wilson. As an English major at the Virginia Commonwealth University, he began to explore the possibility of a career in music. Throughout the eighties and early nineties, he played at many colleges and universities in Virginia. After receiving his Bachelor of Art he concentrated his efforts on music full time.  To book Wayne for your next party or special occasion, email him or call him @ (804)240-6908.  If you know of a band or solo artist who would like to play at the market, please email ChiknEGG or call:  804-314-9141.  Here are the Performance Guidelines for Artists.  Hours for performing are 9:00am-Noon.
